当英語教室の昔からの特徴です。

皆さんはこれから日本を、いや世界を担って行く人たちです。

彼らの前でお話していると、いつもそう思います。

この国の未来は、皆さんにかかっているんだなあ、と。

Seismic activity constant since April 14 quake

People in southwestern Japan have been experiencing earthquake for almost a week.

The first strong earthquake hit Kumamoto Prefecture on April 14th.

More than 700 earthquakes followed in Kumamoto and Oita Prefectures, including a magnitude 7.3 temblor on Saturday.

Authorities say the earthquakes killed 48 people.

More than 1,000 people were injured.

Rescue workers are searching for 2 missing people.

Meteorological Agency officials are telling people to watch out for possible strong earthquakes in the Kushu area.

They are also advising people to be careful with landslides because of the heavy rain.
