The Japanese government says a ballistic missile launched from North Korea has flown over northern Japan and fallen into the Pacific Ocean, 2000 kilometers off the cape of Erimo in Hokkaido at around 7:16 AM local time.
The government is advising people to stay away from anything that could be missile debris.


The Japanese government will hold a national security council meeting this morning. South Korean President Moon Jae In says its national security council will also hold an emergency meeting.
